Transmission & driveline racks.
Returnable steel racks that carry transmissions, transaxles and driveshafts securely, protect the mating surfaces, and come back trip after trip.

Transmissions and driveline components are heavy, precise, and easy to damage in transit — machined mating faces, splines, and sealing surfaces don't forgive a knock. A returnable steel rack built to the part holds each unit in a dedicated, protected position for the whole trip, then folds back into the loop for the next one.
Why returnable for driveline parts
Expendable crates and loose dunnage let heavy units shift, and every shipment is a new cost. A returnable steel rack amortizes across hundreds of trips, protects the machined surfaces that matter, and keeps oil drips and metal chips off your dock. For the full math, run your numbers through our returnable packaging ROI calculator.
- Dedicated cradles locate each transmission or transaxle so it can't move
- Protection for machined faces, splines, and seal surfaces
- Contained handling for units that may weep oil
- Built to stack and return efficiently, loaded and empty
How we protect the part
We design the pocket around your unit. Contoured steel cradles, custom foam or fabric dunnage at contact points, and secure retention keep the transmission from shifting or contacting its neighbor. Orientation is fixed so the part presents the same way at every pick.
- Contoured cradles sized to your transmission, transaxle or driveshaft
- Foam or fabric dunnage protecting machined and sealing surfaces
- Retention that holds heavy units through rough lanes
- Line-side orientation for fast, damage-free unload
Built to your part, under one roof
Every rack is engineered and built in-house — laser-cut, formed on brakes up to 230 tons, welded (MIG and FANUC robotic), and powder coated for a durable, returnable finish. We build to your print, your part, and your loop, and we repair and refurbish the fleet to keep cost per trip low.

FAQ
Transmission Racks Driveline Shipping Racks — answered.
Do you build racks for transmissions and transaxles both?
Yes. We design the cradle and dunnage around your specific unit — manual, automatic, transaxle, or driveshaft — so each part is located and protected for its lane.
How do you handle units that leak oil?
We can design containment and drip protection into the rack and dunnage so weeping units don't contaminate the load or your dock. Tell us the condition of the parts and we'll spec accordingly.
Can the racks handle the weight of driveline components?
Yes — driveline racks are built from steel and engineered for the load, including stacking loaded and returning efficiently. We size the structure to your part weight and stack height.
Will the racks protect machined mating surfaces?
That's the point of building to the part. Foam or fabric dunnage at the contact points protects splines, seal surfaces, and machined faces so parts arrive ready to install.
Can you match our existing rack fleet?
Yes. We build to print and can match or improve on an existing design, and we repair and refurbish fleets to extend their service life.
