Steel fabrication

What is steel fabrication?

Steel fabrication is the process of converting raw steel — plate, angle, channel, tube, beam and bar — into finished parts and assemblies by cutting, forming, welding and coating it to your drawings. It transforms your CAD model or print into a real steel component, frame or structure.

Southern Perfection Fabrication has been building steel since 1982, and today runs a 100,000 sq ft plant that takes your steel from raw stock to finished, coated assembly — large-format TRUMPF fiber laser and plasma cutting, press-brake forming to 230 tons, plate rolling, 30+ MIG welding stations plus FANUC robotic welding, and in-house powder coating — all under one roof.

We fabricate frames, structural supports, brackets, skids, bases, platforms, stairs and tanks in carbon steel (including A36), structural steel and galvanized steel — held to typical tolerances of ±0.005″ and verified with CMM inspection — as part of complete custom metal fabrication and industrial structures under one roof. All backed by our ISO 9001 quality system and CAGE 2W654 registration.
