Stainless steel fabrication
What is stainless steel fabrication?
Stainless steel fabrication is the cutting, forming, welding and finishing of stainless alloys — most often 304, 316 and 316L — into finished equipment and structures. Because stainless resists corrosion and cleans up easily, it is the material of choice for sanitary, food-grade, pharma, chemical, marine and wash-down applications where mild steel would rust or contaminate the process.
Southern Perfection Fabrication has built stainless equipment since 1982 from a 100,000 sq ft plant in Byron, GA. We cut stainless on a large-format TRUMPF fiber laser, form it on a 230-ton press brake, and join it with sanitary TIG and 30+ MIG welding stations plus FANUC robotic welding — with in-house SolidWorks design and CMM inspection — so tanks, frames and weldments come together in the same building on one purchase order.
We fabricate tanks, hoppers, tables, chutes, guards, catwalks, conveyor frames and wash-down platforms for food-grade, sanitary, USDA, pharma, chemical and marine environments — as part of complete custom metal fabrication under one roof.
