Southern Perfection has built to that standard since 1982. From our 100,000-square-foot plant in Byron, GA, we combine an ISO 9001 quality management system, CAGE 2W654 registration, coordinate-measuring-machine inspection and documented traceability so demanding programs can qualify us with confidence.

Southern Perfection is registered under Commercial and Government Entity code 2W654, identifying us as an approved supplier for U.S. government and defense contracting. Paired with our ISO 9001 system and traceability practices, it lets us support programs that demand documented, defense-ready fabrication.

We are actively expanding our credentials to serve more demanding aerospace and defense requirements. AS9100 certification, ITAR registration and NADCAP accreditation are in progress — we do not yet hold them, so please contact us for current status before specifying them on a program.

Inspection

CMM & first-article inspection.

Critical features are verified on a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) for precise, repeatable dimensional data, and we perform first-article inspection (FAI) to prove out a part before a production run. Reports are mapped to your drawing and balloon numbers so approval is straightforward.

Inspection is part of a complete quality and inspection program — from incoming material checks through in-process and final inspection — not a bolt-on at the end.

Traceability

Traceability & documentation.

When a program requires it, we maintain traceability from raw material through the finished part — lot and heat tracking tied to inspection records and certificates of conformance. That documented chain lets you demonstrate to your own customers and auditors exactly what went into each part.

Documentation packages are tailored to your requirements, whether that is a simple cert of conformance or a full data pack with FAI, CMM reports and material certifications.

Materials

Material certifications.

We can supply mill test reports (MTRs) and certificates of conformance for the metals we cut, form, weld and machine — carbon and alloy steel, stainless, aluminum and more — verifying chemistry and mechanical properties against your specification. Material certs travel with the traceability record so the paper trail stays intact from receiving to shipment.

Yes. Southern Perfection Fabrication operates an ISO 9001 quality management system that governs planning, inspection, corrective action and continuous improvement across the plant.

What is CAGE code 2W654?

2W654 is our Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code, which registers Southern Perfection as an approved supplier for U.S. government and defense contracting and supports traceable work on those programs.

Are you AS9100 certified or ITAR registered?

We currently hold ISO 9001 and CAGE 2W654; AS9100, ITAR registration and NADCAP accreditation are in progress. Contact us for the current status before specifying them on a program.
