A major appliance and refrigeration OEM was outgrowing its own shop floor. Rather than add several specialty vendors, it brought a growing family of custom fabricated parts to a single custom manufacturing partner. The challenge
The manufacturer's own fabrication capacity had become the bottleneck. Because machining, sheet metal and forming all live in the same building, parts moved between operations without leaving the shop — no inter-vendor shipping, no finger-pointing when a hand-off went wrong. Work was held to our ISO 9001 quality system and CAGE 2W654 registration, with CMM inspection verifying critical features as volumes scaled.
The result
What began with a set of parts the OEM couldn't keep up with in-house grew into a lasting multi-process relationship. As the manufacturer's needs expanded, Southern Perfection expanded with them — taking on more work and more process scope over time rather than making them go shopping for another supplier.
